    One morning we did stray,
    We met some of the "Doggie" boys
    Who this to us did say,
    You've got to come out to Drundrum
    You know its very far
    And how are we to get there
    Without a Motor-car.

    I'll tell you what we'll do,
    The motor-cars are plenty
    But the "Bobs" are very few,
    We'll slip across the road here
    Before we walk so far,
    And we'll give the dogs a jolly ride
    In George's motor car,

    To the hill of crough we had to go
    To warm up our feet,
    The dogs wore lovely covers
    Just to hide was was beneath,
    We got aboard the Antartic craft
    When her cargo it was full,
    She listed on her Starboard side
    She was packed up to her Hull,
