    Once upon a time a priest went hunting. He had a gun and a gun dog. He walked along in a field outside a garden. There was a man working in the garden.
    This man was a miser and would not allow anyone even to cross his fields. The priest's dog ran out in the garden and the man shot him.
    The next, when the man went to the stable his horse was dead and the next morning one of his cows was dead and every morning some of his animals were dead. He did not know what to do until someone told him to ask forgiveness of the priest and he did. The
