    and buried him. Shortly after one of the boys of the house was returning home from card playing in a neighbours house, and on passing where the horse was buried he heard a tremendous noise over the ditch. He crossed the ditch into the field where the horse was buried and to his surprise the horse rose up out of the hole, and galloped around the field three times. On examining the hole next morning the place seemed undisturbed.
