    Ciall Fiacle is a distance of about seven English miles from Toureen Cross. It is a big parish with a small church, built on top of a small hill on a bye road. The parish takes its name from the little church. There is a small well outside its gate. It is said that St. Patrick was washing his face in this well, whilst washing it he lost one of his teeth, and that is why it is called "Ciall Fiacail", The Church of the tooth.
