    as its height increases. A bow is made and put at each side of the crib as in drawing, and holding the crip up is another stick fork shaped at the top. A few crumbs are put inside the crip on the ground. When the birds see the crumb they go in and while doing so, step on the bow. Down comes the crip holding the bird inside.
    Another old toy is this. It is made with a strong piece of cord and a round piece of rubber or tin with a hole in the centre.
    The tin is turned round several times and when pulled in and out stays spinning round.
