  2. In this parish are two holy wells known as St. Berriherts' and St. Pecaun's. St. Berriherts' well is in the townland of Ardane, parish of Kilmoyler and the barony of Clanwilliam. About two hundred yards west of the well is a disused graveyard known as St. Berrihert's Kyle. Both of them lie close to the northern base of the Galtee mountains. The saint is commemorated on the 18th February
