    car. The bridegrooms car should be always at the Church before the bride, and the bride should be always first coming back after the wedding. An old shoe to hung on the bride's car for luck.In matches money is given as dowry or fortune. A wedding party is held immediately after the wedding. Long ago the bridegroom used to come to the bride's house and stay there for an hour or so, before they went to the Church. it is unlucky for the bride to wear everything new on her wedding day. She must wear:
    "Something old and
    Something new:
    Something borrowed and
    Something blue"
    It is always unlucky for the bride to wear green on her wedding day. Blue and white are the favourite and luckiest colours worn. Long ago
