    the soilders produced the furze or ferns under which he was lying and wounded him in the side without knowing what he had done. When the soilders had passed, Brennan scrambled to a farmers house owned by a man named Guiry. Somebody gave information to the soilders who searched the house and caught Brennan in the chimney.
