    There is a fairy fort in one of the fields adjoining Carrig Hill. It is a round mound. It's diameter is about two hundred yards. It is surrounded by hawthorn trees, ashe trees and hazel tress which are placed very closely to each other. The interior of the fort is higher than the field and the grass is also
