    Weaving:
    A man in Bunkershill name Gummy Ryan, was a weaver. He converted the wool goven to him into blankets.

    Coopers:
    The lynchs were coopers. They lived in Church St. Barrel-making was a great industry those days because there was distillery in Birchgrove. They made them from wood grown in the locality. Some of them were made of bog oak which was then very common. He also made tubs, churns and butter platters
