    One night as a man was coming home from Cappawhite...

    One night as a man was coming home from Cappawhite he saw a black dog on the road there was a chain hanging from the dog’s neck the man bent down to catch the chain but he could not. The dog disappeared.
    The man ran home in a great and ran in to house and fell in weakness.
    He could not sleep that night.
    Date of occurrene 1890.
