Once upon a time there was a man coming home from Cappawhite...

Once upon a time there was a man coming home from Cappawhite he met a black dog on the road after coming out of a back passage.
When the man had gone past the gate the dog came following him. The man ran and the dog ran after him. After a while they came to a gate and the dog jumped over the gate into a field and when he touched the ground balls of fire went into the air.
The man did not see the dog after that. When the man went home and saw the light he fell in a weakness.
