  1. 'How the first dray car came to London.
    There was a farmer one time named Michael O'Brien, who owned a field in whch was a fort. Every morning he noticed that the field was cut up as if there had been a game played on it, so this night he set himself to watch to see what was happening.
    About twelve o'clock, two bunches of hurleys were thrown into the field the man who was a great hurler picked out the best hurley. Then a ball was thrown in, and then a number of fairies came out and began to hurl.
    Michael went in to hurl with them but he was never able to hit the ball. Then one of the fairies gave.
