    Many years ago there was a man living across the river where Hartigans are living now. This man was about eighty years of age and he had a lovely red setter dog. The dog was blind but the man's sight was good. The man made up his mind to take the dog to St. Senans well. he took the dog the next day but the dog was not cured. On the third day the dog got his sight but the man lost his.
