  1. About five years ago a pleasure ship which was floating on the water about one hundred yards above the diving boards at the World's End, was struck by a bullet just above water level and it sunk. This ship was driven by crude oil and had three cabins. At the present time there is to be seen a cable wire tied from the land to her.
