   he was at his own house the White Lady said to him to carry her back again and he said alright wait until I go in and eat my supper. When the fool had his supper eaten he came out and the white lady was outside and she told him that outside the door a white bush would be growing and to dig round it in a square patch. The next morning the fool got up and the white bush was outside the door, he went out and dug it as he was told, underneath he got a heap of gold.

2. The Mysterious Talk

   One night at about half past eleven as my great grandfather was out in the garden setting potatoes he heard a bell ringing and on looking around saw nothing, but heard a voice saying "Stop" "Stop" "or you will regret it afterwards". But he did not pay any heed to these words of warning.
   After a few minutes he was asleep and a voice told him to do what he was told in future. When he woke up his eyes were blind and he was fooling around the garden for about an hour. When he regained his sight
