    In a farm in Ballintubber owned by Mr. Carey there is a field called "Pairc na Coille". This field is by the side of the road. The people say that a long time ago there was a graveyard there and this must be true because the signs of the graves are there yet.
    Mr. Hennesy's field is called "St Brigdets field" because St Bridget's well is there.
    Mr J. Hennesy's field is called "Cuinne Dubh".
    A rock in Ballintubber is called Cairrge na Gual.
    Mr Brazzill has a field called the "Culeen"
    There is a field owned by Dr. Connery near the cross of Cush. It is away from the road and is known as "Cnocán". It is called after a hight
