  1. There is a great big stone on Ballinarouga. This stone was thrown from the top of Knockfierna to Ballingarry a distance of about three miles. It was thrown by Finn Mac Cual. This rock is placed in the ditch of the road. It is in Martin Quaid's land. It is eight feet high and five feet wide.
