  1. My Home district is Caherhennessy. It is in the parish of Ballingarry and in the Upper barony of Connello. There are eight families in the townland. The Approximate number of people is about 27 or 28 persons. "Bohan" is the most common. There are only one house thatched. It is not known why the townland got its name. There is one woman Mrs. Mc Cann over seventy. The majority of them know Irish. The houses were more numerous locally in former times. They emigrated to America in former times. The land is good in the district.
