    THE IRISH ROVER
    In the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and six
    We set sail from the sweet cove of Cork
    We were bound far away with a ship load of brick
    For the big city hall of New York
    We sailed eleven years until the measles broke out
    Until our ship lost her way in the fog
    And all of the crew were reduced down
