And beside it stands a black smith's shop.
So every body says
Where all the horses of the place are shod without delays
Dennie Harrington and his anvil it rings most sweet to me.
And there he shoes those lamed old plugs

Beside it stands a huckster shop

They say he is a noble man he is Mahony by name
He sells all sorts of tobacco and the best Blarney tea
Which makes old women jump with glee.
