    When the sky is red in the east in the morning it is a sign of rain before noon.
    A red sunset is a sign of good weather.
    When a ring is seen around the moon it is a sign of bad weather.
    When the moon comes in on its back it is a sign of bad weather.
    When clouds seems to move very quickly it is a sign of wind.
    When a rainbow is seen it is a sign that there is'nt to be a flood.
    When the wind is said to be in, it is northly wind; when it is said to be going out, it is going south.
    When the smoke from a chimney turns downwards it is a sign of rain.
    When the cat sits with its back to the fire it is a sign of rain.
    When seagulls fly inland it is a sign of bad weather at sea.
    When wild ducks come near the shore, it is a sign of bad weather.
    When distant objects look near it is a sign of rain.
    When soot falls down the chimney it is a sign of rain.
    When the crows remain in their nests it is a sign of rain, when they fly it is a sign of good weather.
    When a donkey brays it is a sign of rain.
    When cows huddle together, in a corner of a field, it is a sign of bad weather.
