  1. The Pound Fair.
    Situate at the Pound Cross between Leamlara Cross and Lisgoold Grave Yard.
    This was evidently the main road from Cobh to Tallow, Co Waterford at one time.
    Here is situate a field called the "Pound Field" and A Large Stone flat is still in the neighbourhood . The monies owned by people were written on it on Fair days. The great fire was lit on St John's night the eve of the Fair.
