  1. There is a graveyard at the village of Coole, which is near Fermoy. As one approaches the graveyard at night, one is supposed to hear moaning, groaning and clapping. When one turns the corner, a hearse is said to be seen with a figure dressed in white driving it. If one looks into the graveyard, ghosts of the dead people who were buried there, walk on their tombs.
