A sort of fence or ditch called an Claidhe Dubh runs from Bowen's Court, Kildorrery along the foot of the mountains of Ballyhoura and Streamhill to Ballyvonarc. Probably some ancient boundary. Very Rev. Professor Power was around the locality some years ago inquiring about it.
