Visited some stones with holes in them on Mucahys Farm...

Visited some stones with holes in them on Mulcahys Farm about 1 1/2 miles from Dromasheáin It is some distance from Pendy's Cross referred to in previous instalment of folklore which I sent. One stone upright is about twice the height of a man. Photograph of stone enclosed. According to local tradition the stones were dropped by Cliodhna on her way to Castlecor when leaving Carraig Cliodhna. Photo of Carraigh Cliodna (about 5 miles from Dromahane) also Enclosed.
    The rock covers several acres.
It was into this rock Cliodna decoyed the boy M : Sweeney a farmer's son near by. There is a lios or fort in O'Connells farm Kilpadder, Dromahane, Mallow.
