I heard from Ned Riordan, Kilcaskin, a story of the olden times about a man who was dying. It was the time when Saint Patrick was going around preaching. This man was a very holy man, and he was out in the bogs where no one was near him. After a long time somebody came to him, and the man was just dead.
The man saw his soul leaving him three times, and going to the door, and the third time it went. His soul did not want to leave him he was such a good man. I never heard any other story.
