    The most harmful weeds I know are dock-leaf, and chicken weed, and dandelion. They spread rapidly and impoverish the soil. The thistle and dock-leaf grow only in the best of land.
    The dandelion herb is boiled and drawn like tea, and is used for liver complaint. There is also a herb called "St. Patrick's plant, and it is put up to any sore to draw the badness out of it.
    The spunk leaf is dried, and used as tobacco by people. The thistle is chopped, and mixed with the pigs' food.
