  1. Long ago there lived on the Rock a family of gardeners called Deasy, or Daishy as they were better known. Although the Daishy's lived within the town they were more like the country people of the time than the other residents of the locality - that is in their speech their style of dress and their food. But they differed from both town and country people in many ways. In their garden, which they called the "Golden Gardens",
