   The tiles they used have was a tough sod dug on the hillside.

   The chimney also made of straw held with spats made of wild twigs. The flue was also made of woven wild twig.

   The parlour was their principal bed-room. The kitchen was often used to give a night's lodging to a horse and sometimes a cow. And the flower-garden was the manure pit.
