The players stand in a row and one goes round tipping each while saying the following rhyme -
"Oranges, oranges, all in a row,
Where does the old crow go.
Through the last, through the rest.
To the old Crow's nest.
Hopping in the garden,
Skipping o'er the sea.
If you want a fair lady,
Just pick me."At the word "me" the person tipped follows the others.
Here are other rhymes in use : -

O U T spells "out",
And out of the game you must go".
