    It is taken up and struck with a mallet to open sheaves. It is then put out to bleach. After a week it is brought in and combed well with the hands to soften it. It is warped then, and tread is made out of it. It is then sent to the weaver, and he makes cloth out of it. After that it is brought home, and washed and bleached. Then sheets and other garments are made out of it.
