  1. Local Prayers.
    A house blessing.
God bless each corner of this house,
    And be the lintel blest,
And bless the hearth, and bless the board.
And bless each place of rest.
God bless the door that opens wide,
    The stranger as to kin.
And bless each window crystal pane.
That lets the sky light in
    God bless the roof-tree overhead,
    And every sturdy wall
The peace of God, the peace of man
The peace of love on all. Amen
