    The following are a selection of riddles, commonly known in Fuerty district.
    Question. As I was running, a thing I found, and as to to find it I searched around, but as I could not find it I kept it all day and surely if I found it, I would throw it away?
    Answer. A thorn in my foot.

    A. An umbrella.
    Q. A leaper of ditches, a clipper of thorns, a little red cow with two leather horns. What is it?
    A. A hare.
    Q. As I ran up a hill I met Aunt Norah with an iron nose, steel toes, what is that which frightens the crows?
    A. A gun
