  1. Gobán Saor.
There was a man there long ago and his name was Gobán Saor. He was a very clever man. He had only one son, and the son was not as clever as himself. On account of that he wanted his son to get a clever woman.
One night Gobán Saor gave his son a sheep's hide to sell in the town. He told him to bring home the skin and its value. When the boy reached the town a man came to him and asked him what he wanted for the hide.
The boy said he wanted the skin and its value. The man started laughing and he told the story to everyone in the town.
