  1. Another Ghost Story
    A man from the parish of Kilmore (the next parish to this) was coming home late one bright night between twelve and one o'clock from a friend's house. As he was walking along a part of the road where there are no houses his dog which accompanied him ran on before him and then ran back barking loudly and jumped against the man's legs. The man took no notice but continued on his way. The dog ran on again and came back as before barking loudly and pulled at the man's legs as if wanting to keep him back but the man walked on as before not heeding his dog.
