  1. Patrick Coffey of Ashbrook gave me this cure for an inward growth - Says he - "My mother told me that my grandmother was very sick one time and my mother went to mind her. A travelling man came in an he was a northman and he says to my mother "Is there anything amiss with you for you're like a woman that's in trouble?" an she told him about her mother being sick.
    She told him it was an inward growth. He told her to get the Marsh Mallows and to cut it up the same as you'd cut tobaccy to go in a pipe and to put it in a teapot and draw it the same as you would draw tae and to give it to her to drink and
