    Not far from the town of Ballaghadereen stand the ruins of an ancient abbey. It is called St Colman
    s abbey and its walls are crumbling to bits.
    It was built by St. Colman, and he and his monks lived there for many years. They worked hard during the day and prayed at night.
    When they died, they were buried near their abbey. It is said that St Colman buried all his treasure under the abbey, and it is guarded by a big black dog. Many attempts have been made to recover it, but
