    enemy's rock. After that the Tinnacarra giant killed his rival in a sword fight, and he had peace after that.
    Other stories about giants are told also. One of these tells us how a man named Micheal O'Farrel killed a giant by taking out his tooth.
    On the lonliest part of the Curlew Mountains young Micheal O'Farrel toiled day and night to earn a living for himself, his mother and Attracta, his one and only sister. She was as beautiful a girl that ever lived in the Heart of Ireland. It was often that the aristocracy of Boyle paid her to use her nice voice in singing some old Irish songs at parties, and, at night when she used to go home her pockets used to be full of gold and silver pieces as a result of her singing. But alas! good things do not always last, and so it was with Attracta O'Farrel.
    One Winter evening a huge mammoth like figure was seen coming from the west. It was a giant out over his lip.
