  1. At Grange, 4 miles from the city of Limerick beside the river Mulchaire there is a big rock about six feet high and two yds. in circumference.
It is on a hill and it is said that it has been put there by giants.
Long ago tow giants standing one on either side of the river used to fling it across to each other.
There is a print of a foot in it and it is said that one of the giants jumped on it and he was so heavy that he sank down through.
