  1. We have got cows, calves, cattle, a horse, a pig, hens and cats on our farm.
Here are some names of our cows; Strawberry, Blackbird, Blueie, Spots, Daisy, and Blackie.
When one wants to call the hens, one says "chuck-chuck"; the claves "suck-suck"; the pig, "wattie-wattie"; the cat "puss-puss".
The cowhouse is (al) called a byre or a stall.
The cows are tied round the neck with a chain and sometimes a thin rope is tied round their legs to keep them from kicking. This is called a spancel.
When one wants the cow to move her leg one says "carthic.
    Donkeys are sometimes called Charley.
When one is calling a turkey one says "yeb".
