This man used to go around from house to house telling the people when Heuston was to come and to meet him at Ballyfarnon. These people got the 'title' of bailiffs. All collections were made up in money, no kine was taken. - On St. Stephen's day the young people dress up in rags and go about singing and playing. They also sing the Wren Song which is:
