    which is about four feet high now, but there is some of it all thrown down.
    There is a graveyard also in this piece of ground. Long ago this graveyard is supposed to have taken in three acres of land. It stretched into the townland of Lyonstown, and it also took in some land in Bridgecartron. It is supposed that the people whose land it occupied wanted to have their land for grazing purposed, and that they left only this small piece in memory of what was once a sacred spot.
    The Mass stone is still to be seen on the top of a lot of many small stones which have been built up so as to make an altar. The flag is fairly large being about six feet long, and four feet wide, and it is raised four feet from the ground. In olden times the wall around the graveyard and
