    When the swallows are flying high it is a sign of fine weather. On a fine day the hills seem very distant. When they seem near it is a sign of rain.
    When the cats are lying in a lump it is a sign of snow. When dogs are lying inside it is a sign of rain. When the smoke goes up the chimney straight it is a sign of snow. When the midges bite you it is a sign of rain.
