    A few fields away from Ballylinan Church there is a place called "The Wood".

    next night they found the hole that they dug the night before was filled in. They brought a rooster and killed him to prevent bloodshed and then they put it on the slab.
    They dug again and when they were lifting the slab one man looked behind him and thought he saw a white woman and fainted. The other two men brought him home and he died about a week after.
