  1. In this part of the Ireland when a person dies if he is over two miles away from the chapel.
    He will be too far to bring to the chapel. They hold what is called an "offering". That is a whole lot of people come to the house, and give not less than two-an-six, and what ever priest is there will take that money away, and get the deceased prayed for as long as the money will last.
