  1. Get a rush and peel it leave one side of skin the way the pith won't break. Put down some fat or grease in a grisset, and when it is boiling dip the rush in it and let it dry. Then its fit to burn. A grisset is about six inches long and nine inches in width with three little feet under it like a pot.
