  1. The Fairy Hill is in the town land of Rathcoffey. It is in a field belonging to Mr,Egan. It is a fairly big hill with trees and shrubs growing on and around it. In the centre of the hill there is a hole leading down to a cave. There is a flat stone over the hole that could not be rooted up. On the stone there are x's cut out and "Red Cure"is also cut out on it. There is an underground tunnel leading from the cave to Bells in Ballyglaheen. They were big protestant people but none of them are living now.Long ago fairies lived on the Hill
