  1. Pitching buttons is my favourite game.
    I play it with my companions every day at playtime. To play this game each boy needs a supply of buttons. The boy who is about to start requires at least two buttons. Before starting to pitch, a small stone is placed on the road. This is called a spud. A mark is placed on the road and this is called a stand three or four yards away from the spud.The first boy pitches two buttons at the spud. The second boy comes along picks up the button farthest away from the spud and pitches it along
