    His name was Mr Hill. The baskets were made from thin switches. The frame was thicker. When the sticks were cut they were shaped like an egg at the top.
    Then the switches were woven through. The top was put together. The baskets are made still by all. Some people used to make wooden bed frames and chairs and other useful things. They made them from poplar trees and ash trees.
